Timeline
Most recently we have updated the planning application to reflect local and stakeholder feedback. The next step is for the plans to be considered by Camden Council’s Planning committee. Below is a headline timeline outlining when we expect key activities and milestones to happen.
Early 2021:
Pre-submission public consultation on early proposals
Summer 2021:
Submission of planning application for original scheme by previous owner LabTech
March/April 2022:
Amendments proposed to the scheme, and a second public consultation took place (including an in-person exhibition and site tours)
June 2022:
BC Partners acquire the site from LabTech
August/September 2022:
Further engagement with stakeholders and community groups regarding the revised proposals
September 2022:
Amendments to the planning application are submitted to Camden Council
June 2023:
Amended planning application submitted, following the listing of two buildings at West Central Street
Q3/Q4 2023:
Camden Council Planning Committee decision expected
2024 - 2028:
Demolition, enabling and main construction works (Subject to planning permission)
